Denver Post Top 10 Restaurant: A Hidden Gem
This is what the Denver Post had to say: "This Northeast Park Hill neighborhood spot will make you feel like you’ve traveled South for the summer. Order fried catfish, hot links or baby back ribs with sides like mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. There’s sweet tea to sip on, big screens to watch the game and garage door windows to sit by for an open-air lunch. Plan a to-go order or sit for a leisurely while"

The Realest BBQ & Soul Food in Denver
We've been established since 2018. Mississippi Boy started with 1 food truck. Now we have 4 food trucks in addition to our brick and mortar location. Elijah Allen was the original Mississippi Boy, he brought our family from Newton/Rosehill, Mississippi. Our recipes came from our grandmother, Mama Lilly, who was born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi. Everything in our kitchen is fresh, and she taught us that cooking everything from scratch every day is the only way! We've been offering southern-style smoked bbq plates for festivals, catering, lunch and dinner. Ranging from Beef/Pork Ribs, Catfish, Shrimp, and Turkey Legs.
Private Supper Club
We maintain a private club for those with a distinguished taste for food and atmosphere. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for membership details.
